DESCRIPTION
The concept of Vimana was to create a book without paper or ink, but rather by using PMMA sheets carved by a cutting plotter. This project attempted to explore the limitations of books as a medium–their fragility, both materially & narrative. Vimana includes 32 engraved PMMA sheets, with a custom built PMMA case, and has sold out of its three limited edition copies.
