Awarded by the TDC for typographic excellence, 83M80 is a metal cast movable typeface, with 10 different styles. The whole set is composed of over 400 characters, contained in a custom-built letterpress case built from vintage Hamilton cases, that was used to create a sold-out limited run of prints exhibited in 2015 upon the project's completion. In 2020, 83M80 was purchased by the private collection of Harvard University, where it can be accessed by appointment for research. A documentary was also derived from this project that explores the juxtaposition of analog and digital technologies through interviews with noted artists and researchers.
